Shoring
Shoring is a general term used in construction to describe the process of supporting a structure in order to prevent collapse so that construction can proceed. It can be used to provide support to the construction site itself, or to an actual structure. When excavation goes deep into the ground, there becomes a need to prevent the collapse of the walls/slopes that have been created, and “trench shoring” is implemented to ensure that this collapse will not occur. On the other hand, when a column or wall is being removed in a building, shoring is also used to support its floors and beams. Specifically, vertical shoring acts as a temporary replacement to permanent support structures, while work is in progress. Most of the vertically placed piering systems we use are referred to as shoring systems but this page is specifically for temporary and permanent shoring systems for excavated walls and slopes.
Extreme Technology approaches excavation shoring by using sophisticated processes that pair traditional soil nailing, and high tinsel strength steel mesh. this system has advantages by saving time and money. Which in this industry is beneficial to the general contractors that use our services.
With a staff of experienced shoring engineers, and the most advanced equipment, we have proven time and time again, that we are the premier shoring company in Atlanta.
